1WC’sChannel REVIEW 2012: (BritishForcesNews 48 minutes ago) Britain's former Ambassador to Syria, Sir Andrew Green, has told British Forces News that getting involved in the Civil War in Syria would be' like sticking hands in a meat grinder.'
Sir Andrew said the situation in Syria was so complicated that outside intervention would be a massive mistake. He was speaking after it emerged the Syrian Prime Minister, Riad Hijab, had defected with his family to Jordan.
His spokesman read a statement from Mr Hijab, saying he had left what he called a terrorist regime and joined the revolution. Activists say two other ministers have also defected. But they say the finance minister, Mohammad Jalilati, was arrested as he tried to escape.
This has been denied on Syrian state television, which broadcast a phone interview it said was with Mr Jalilati, saying he was working as usual in his office.
In Aleppo, there has been fierce fighting, with anti-Government Forces claiming 13 people have been killed, as the Assad regime appears to be preparing for a major assault to drive them from the country's second city.
A bomb has exploded on the third floor of the Syrian state TV and radio building in the capital, Damascus, Syrian television reports. Three people were reported wounded and the explosion caused some damage but state TV continued broadcasting.
Hours later, state TV reported that Prime Minister Riad Hijab had been fired. Appointed two months ago, he had been seen as a staunch loyalist. The Jordanian government has confirmed he has defected.
However, there has been no immediate explanation of his sacking from President Bashar al-Assad's government so soon after he was made prime minister.
His replacement, Omar Ghalawanji, will reportedly lead a caretaker government. The developments come as Syria's army tries to recapture the city of Aleppo. Rebel forces took over several areas of Damascus in recent weeks, but the army has since regained control of the capital.
Berkuasa eksklusif ini adalah filem pertama

wawancara yang jarang berlaku dengan pemimpin FSA. Gambaran menarik bagaimana
pertempuran untuk Syria yang sedang berjuang.
"Tolong jangan aksi!" satu
This powerful exclusive is the first film
to access the Free Syrian Army's secret labyrinth of caves and also holds a
rare interview with the FSA leader. A fascinating insight to how the battle for
Syria is being fought.
"Please don't film!" one fighter
says, as two rebels argue in the pitch black over the presence of a journalist.
In this increasingly violent war the rebels have been using their local
knowledge to great advantage. And these 3,000 year old caves are of huge
strategic importance. "The army besieged us many times and we always
slipped through." But local knowledge will only go so far and the rebels
are hard pressed to counter the might of the Syrian army with limited
resources.
As one failed test run of a home-made
mortar shows, they don't have much to work with. They are disheartened by
months of fighting without help. "America and Europe hide behind the
Russian veto. They lie to us." Even the head of the Free Syrian Army,
Colonel Riad al-Assad, is unable to help. As rebel groups come to him for
guidance he can only encourage coordination.
When asked about the suicide bomb that
killed the minister of defence he says, "This is an integral part of the
revolutionary action. It could break the regime's back." As things get
increasingly desperate, anything that hastens the end of the bloodshed in Syria
will form a part of their strategy. Syrian Prime Minister and Cabinet Members Defect From Regime: hit herehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QThn94OIX2k

Prime Minister sacked - state TV . . .
1WC’sChannel REVIEW 2012: (RT News) Syrian
Prime Minister Riyad Hijab has been sacked, state TV reported. His current
whereabouts are unknown, and there are conflicting reports as to whether he has
fled the country. Hijab, Syria’s former Minister of Agriculture, was appointed
Prime Minister in June following parliamentary elections in the country.
The ex-Prime Minister is currently in
Jordan, where he fled with his family, Reuters cited a Jordanian official as
saying. Hijab’s former spokesperson Muhammad el-Etri confirmed the report.
The former Prime Minister has defected from
the Syrian government and traveled to Jordan with ten family members, where he
will join the Syrian opposition forces, el-Etri told Al-Jazeera. However,
Jordanian Minister of Information Samih al-Maaytah denied that Hijab is in the
country. Meanwhile, Al-Arabiya reported that the defected premier would travel
to Qatar.
Omar Ghalawanji, the country’s Minister of
Local Administration, will temporarily assume Hijab's duties before a new Prime
Minster is appointmented, the Syrian TV report said. The news comes less than a
month after four key Syrian military officials, including the Defense Minister,
were killed in a suicide bombing at a national security building in the capital
of Damascus.
Levels of violence in the country remain
high. A bomb blast at a state TV and radio building in Damascus wounded three
people on Monday. Fighting continues in Aleppo, where government troops and
armed opposition forces are battling for control of the city.
Opposition

In addition to Hijab, three other members
of Assad’s cabinet have defected, opposition sources claimed. Three army
generals also fled the country, separate rebel reports said.
The
allegations were quickly picked up by international media. Treasurer Mohamad
Gillati, one of the cabinet members alleged to have fled, denied the rumors of
his defection in a live Syrian TV broadcast.

Masjid
Missouri dibakar ke tanah sebulan
selepas
membakar gagal . . .
Pejabat Jasper County Sheriff berkata.
Missouri
mosque burned to the ground a month
after
failed arson . . .
An Islamic community center in Joplin,
Missouri burned to the ground early Monday morning. It was the second fire the
center had faced in about a month. It follows a July 4 arson at the Islamic
Society of Joplin that caused only minor damage, but sparked an FBI
investigation – and a $15,000 reward for tips leading to charges relating to
the blaze.
The fire that destroyed the mosque and
community center was reported at about 3:30 am local time Monday, the Jasper
County Sheriff's Office said. The center's imam was in the building until late
Sunday night, and told Yahoo! News that he was "sad and shocked"
about the fire that destroyed his place of work and worship.
"Nothing can be saved," Imam
Lahmuddin said Monday. "But since we are people of faith, we just can
remember that this is a thing that happened because God let it happen, and we
have to be patient, particularly in the month of Ramadan, control our emotions,
our anger."
No injuries were reported in the fire, and
no charges have been filed. The FBI has opened an investigation, and will try
to determine whether it was caused by arson, according to bureau spokeswoman
Bridgett Patton.
The FBI had also investigated a 2008
incident in which the center's sign was set on fire. As with the July arson,
that investigation also hit a dead end. And though last month's failed attempt
to burn the building down was caught on camera, a spokesperson for the
sheriff's office said the center's security cameras were destroyed in the
Monday fire.
Meanwhile, the Council on American Islamic
Relations is calling for increased police protection at houses of worship
across the country following the Joplin fire and the deadly attack on a Sikh
temple in Wisconsin the day before. The Washington-based advocacy group has
also put up $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of
whoever set the Joplin fire.
The Islamic Society of Joplin opened in
2007 as a mosque and community center, and boasts a membership of about 50
families. According to Lahmuddin, the center's members are integral members of
the Joplin community, many of them working as doctors at local hospitals.
On Sunday, a Sikh temple in a suburb of
Milwaukee, Wisconsin came under siege when a gunman opened fire in the parking
lot, then took hostages once inside the building. Some reports speculate that
alleged neo-Nazi Wade Michael Page, the gunman in the Wisconsin attack, had
confused the Sikhs for Muslims.
"I
heard that yesterday, and this morning we see this happen in our place,"
Imam Lahmuddin said. "We are more fortunate that no one here got
hurt."

tetapi berkata lelaki bersenjata memandu kira-kira 200 meter jauhnya, dan
kemudian dia mendengar letupan stesen dimusnahkan.

Menteri al-Zoubi berkata bahawa serangan

Presiden
Assad mengarahkan kabinet mengarahkan semua usaha mereka untuk mengalahkan
pembangkang bersenjata.
Photos show a heavily damaged room without
a ceiling and tapes on fire amid piles of debris. An employee at the station
told Associated Press that several people were wounded in the attack and guards
were kidnapped. He did not give his name for fear of repercussions, but said
the gunmen drove him about 200 meters away, and then he heard the explosion of
the station being destroyed.
A few hours after the attack, the station
was still able to broadcast. "This
massacre won't go unpunished and the broadcast of the Syrian al-Ikhbaryia
Satellite will not stop and we hold the EU and Arab and International
organizations responsible for this massacre," Syrian Arab News Agency
(SANA) quotes Information Minister al-Zoubi as saying.“Those who committed this
crime had carried out the decision of the Arab League Council to silence the
voice of Syria."
Minister al-Zoubi said that this attack
crowns the EU decision in Luxembourg to impose sanctions on Syrian TV and Radio
in addition to the “continued campaigns of provocation against Syria.”
Sara Marusek, a researcher from Syracuse
University in Beirut, believes that the attack benefits the rebels. She echoed
al-Zoubi by saying that Western sanctions against Syrian media outlets had
virtually sanctioned this act of terror.
“I cannot say if they’ve done it or not but
